The Neptune 18 Hole Course

Construction has finally begun in Neptune, where the CJDGC is part of the effort in designing, installing and naming a new 18 hole township course on a very wooded piece of property. Heavy equipment was on the premises this past week, and township workers will continue to carve out desired fairways and shape parts of the course. This will be a challenging venue with nice elevation in a nice part of town. We will keep everyone appraised on progress throughout the process via Face Book and this site!

Update: More progress has been made on the course being built in Neptune. Lou and Frank have mapped out a proposed layout, and heavy equipment has continued to clear proposed fairways. We thank the Neptune Twp. Dept. of Public Works for their support and efforts on this project. If all comes to fruition, this will be a challenging, par 62 wooded course with some elevation and variety. A large parking lot is in the works along with other amenities that will be shared soon.
