The last tournament of the year CJDG will host is the Autumn at Allaire PDGA C-Tier at Allaire State Park on Sunday, Nov. 1st. Registration is filled and a waitlist is in place. We will be holding to a strict 72 player limit, and information on day-of procedures will be forthcoming in the next week or so. Looking forward to a great event to end the year!
Re: Autumn at Allaire- PDGA C-Tier
To all playing in Sunday's Autumn at Allaire event, please familiarize yourself with the following procedures to be followed the day of the event:
ARRIVAL: Please do not arrive before 7:30 a.m. so that the Club can organize and put our members in place to best serve everyone.
PARKING: A Club member(s) will guide you into the lot as you arrive to maximize our parking space. We will utilize the overflow lot across the street if necessary.
CHECK-IN: You will check in upon arrival. Please stand at the flags or markers present so that proper distancing is maintained.
MASKS: Must be worn at all times when in proximity to the registration and merchandise tables. We will limit the # of people in that area.
TOURNAMENT PLAY: While Lou will discuss all specifics during Friday's virtual player meeting at 8:00 pm, below are some basic rules/procedures:
*Two rounds of play; you will play with the same group the entire day
*Electronic scoring is preferred but we will have hard-copy scorecards for anyone interested
*Second round will begin 45 min to 1 hour after round one. Remember: daylight will be a factor!
*OB areas: Hole 17 (island hole) and hole 18 (a white line will delineate the registration and parking lot areas)
*Speed of play will be enforced. Three minutes to find a lost disc, use spotters if necessary, take relief from any unsafe lie
*You must mark your lie and observe all established game rules during each round
*Throw a provisional shot if there is a disputed call. Try to come to a group decision. There is no two-meter rule.
FUNNY MONEY: If you win funny money (merchandise vouchers) at the event or have it from a prior tournament, spend it!! The money is valid thru Dec. 31st 2020; we will not honor it after that date- no exceptions.
Please reach out to Lou or Frank concerning any day-of procedures that are not listed here or aren't discussed at the virtual player meeting. We look forward to a great event to wrap up the season!
