Good Morning! Below is some day-of information for the upcoming Battle at the Beach tournament brought to you by The Central Jersey Disc Golf Club and Two Johns Productions. John Birkrem will serve as today's tournament director and Frank Gualtieri will be your Asst. TD.
Check in will begin at 7:45. We ask that players do not arrive earlier than 7:15 so we may set up and organize without chaos. At check in, you will receive your custom disc and caddy guide for the day. Central Jersey tags will be in play; please drop off your tag in the container provided at check-in. If interested in purchasing a tag to support the club, we will have them available at the reduced rate of $15 for the remainder of the season.
There will be a player meeting at approx. 8:45, followed by reporting to our starting holes. The first round will commence shortly thereafter. This is a shotgun start and live scoring will be utilized. TWO PLAYERS in each group must keep score; one using live scoring and one using a method of your choosing. We will have paper cards on site for those interested. At the end of round one, we will run a CTP contest- $1 per throw or $5 for six throws. There will be three winners (three separate nice prizes offered). Round two will begin approximately one hour after the last card is submitted.
The layout will be a standard layout in which players play from the main (green) tees both rounds, Par 59. Hole 17 will be played from the long tee pad and the hole 1 basket will be played to its long position. No two meter rule. OB rules are road and across, surrounded by water or the roof of any structure. Specifics for hole 3 will be discussed during the player meeting. In addition, there are two mandos on the course, holes 14 and 15, which will likewise be clarified at the meeting.

AM payouts will be redeemed at the club store. Pro payouts will be handled separately by the tournament director. The CJDGC thanks John Birkrem for being our TD for today's event.
