Good Morning, All. We thank all of you who are playing in our opening event of the season, the 2023 CJDGC Tag Release. below are some important day-of procedures for tomorrow:
Check in is between 8:00-8:45. Please DO NOT ARRIVE before 7:30, as we wish to set up and properly prepare in a non-chaotic environment. Starting at 8:00, you will check in, receive your custom club mini and grab a caddy guide. We will meet back at the registration table for a brief player meeting at 8:45 followed by reporting to your holes and then teeing off.
This is a one round, sanctioned event. Scores must be kept on UDisc or paper card. We will not have live scoring today. All players must verify an accurate scorecard or will be penalized as per PDGA rules. Scores will be tallied at the end of the round and tags distributed. There are trophies for the top male and female tag holder. PLEASE make sure you stick around for your tag; we do not wish to be holding a dozen or more tags for people because they decided to take off. If all goes as planned, the event should be totally wrapped up by 1:00-1:30.
The layout is very simple: We are playing from ALL MAIN TEES, as designated by the tee sign you see at each hole. Holes 1 and 2 will play to the long (par 4) basket position. Total par is 60. All OB and Mando rules will be reviewed at the player meeting. There will be no two-meter rule. You have three (3) minutes to find a lost disc.
The Club Store will be open before and after the round where we will have our supply of discs and merchandise. We prefer cash, but do have a PayPal account, cjdgc@yahoo.com. Use the "friends and family" option if you send to our account.
Questions can be submitted on this page or by texting Dave Kaminski or Frank Gualtieri. On behalf of the Club, I thank you for your support!
