Rockefeller Rumble 2023

Greetings, all players. Thank you for playing this year's Rockefeller Rumble at Ocean County Park, sponsored by The Jersey Shore Disc Golf Club. Below is some helpful day-of information. Anything not covered here will be discussed by Dave at the players' meeting before the event starts.

Check-in is 8:00-8:45. Please do not arrive before 7:30, as the Club likes to have people in place to set up for our event. At check-in, you will take a caddy guide and will be given a $20 voucher, good for one disc at the Club Store. THIS MUST BE REDEEMED AT CHECK-IN, NOT AFTER THE EVENT. Tags are in play. If you have a JSDGC tag, please place it in the container on the table. If you would like a tag to support the club, they are $20 for the season; please ask us for one and one will be provided for you!

The player meeting will be held at 8:45. Attendance is mandatory. Both rounds will feature a par 60 layout. We will play from the main tees all day EXCEPT for hole 2, which will be played from the alternate tee to the long basket (par 4). The hole 1 basket will likewise be played to the long position. Scoring procedures, OB rules, mandos, two-meter rule and all other important course info. will be covered during the player meeting. Tee off will be at approx. 9:00 a.m.

Players will have 1 hour for lunch after round one. We always encourage players to visit Bacoli Pizza, a loyal JSDGC sponsor right on the corner of Rt. 88 and New Hampshire Avenue. A CTP contest will be held between rounds. Bring extra cash. One throw for $5, 3 throws for $10. Winner takes home a Zuca Junior cart! Dave will discuss in detail during the meeting. Round two will begin one hour after the last card is submitted. Payouts will follow after scores are calculated.

As always, drugs and alcohol are prohibited as per PDGA rules for sanctioned events and OCP rules. Please use available trash cans for all litter. Bathrooms are available by hole 1 and also in the beach parking lot area to the left of the hole 7 fairway.
