The Carl Cubbedge Classic- Sat. 4/15/23

Good evening to all players participating in Saturday's Carl Cubbedge Classic PDGA event. We appreciate your participation and hope for a fun day! Please carefully read the "Day-Of" event procedures listed below:

WAITLIST: If you are not off the waitlist by 8:00 p.m. Friday night, we cannot accommodate you. You will receive a refund. There will be no one added to the event after 8:00 p.m. regardless of drops or changes.
ARRIVAL: We ask that no one arrives before 7:15. The Club needs time to set up and put people in place to help with parking.
CHECK-IN: Player check-in is from 7:45-8:30. You will receive a caddy guide and your custom disc.
TAGS: JSDGC tags are in play during the tournament. Please place your tag in the box at check-in. Tags will be available for purchase for $20.
BATHROOM: There will be no porta-potty on site. Clean bathrooms are available at the Visitor's Center across the street which does not open until 8:00. Please take care of bathroom needs before you arrive!
RAFFLE/CUBBY DISC SALES: We will be selling raffle tickets for a variety of great prizes. Tickets are $1 each, six for $5 or an arm's length for $10.
In addition, a couple dozen of Cubby's personal discs will be for sale at $10 apiece. All proceeds will be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. All purchases for the raffle/Cubby discs are CASH ONLY!!
LAYOUT/COURSE RULES: The layout for each round and all course rules are spelled out in the caddy guide which will be emailed to you.
LIVE SCORING: The Live Scoring code for the event is ccc2023. A second method of scoring must be used on each card.
PLAYER MEETING: Arrival at the player meeting is MANDATORY. You should not be putting or in the parking lot. We have some important acknowledgments, announcements and rules to cover along with a brief tribute to Cubby. Please arrive when prompted.
ROUND 1: Tee off Time is at approx. 9:15. Round 2 will start 45 minutes after the last card from round 1 is submitted.
LUNCH: We encourage people to bring a bag lunch. If you must leave, options include Tony's Pizzeria and Downtown Burger, both in Farmingdale.
AWARDS: Will be distributed after scores are tallied and tags are redistributed.
BE PREPARED: The unseasonably warm weather means you should have extra water and bug/tick spray.
